This easy, 3-ingredient pulled chicken recipe makes chicken perfect for tacos, enchiladas, burrito bowls, taco salads, and more. Use it right away or freeze it for quick and easy weeknight meals!
Place chicken breasts in slow cooker. Top with taco seasoning first, then salsa.
Cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3 hours until chicken is cooked through and shreds easily with a fork.
Remove chicken from slow cooker. Shred with a fork.
Return chicken to slow cooker and stir to combine.
Keep warm until serving, or transfer to refrigerator or freezer if making in advance.
Notes
If you cut this recipe in half and use two chicken breasts instead of four, check the chicken halfway through the cooking time in the recipe. It may cook faster with only two pieces of chicken in the slow cooked.
