Deviled eggs are one of my favorite party foods. I make great Classic Deviled Eggs, but sometimes I like to mix things up a bit with different ingredients and toppings. The bacon jam is one of my favorite toppings. I also love bacon jam with brie.

Bacon Jam Deviled Egg Recipe Notes
Hard boiled egg method: I’ve started using this method from Crafty Cooking Mama for boiling my eggs. I used to use method #1 from her post, and, as you can see, that results in some disastrous peeling. Allow plenty of time for peeling the eggs. Nothing is more frustrating than bring rushed to peel eggs and ending up pulling chunks out of the egg whites by mistake.
Mustard: I prefer to make my deviled eggs with yellow mustard because I prefer the stronger flavor against the mildness of the egg yolks. You can use Dijon if you prefer.
Bacon jam: I usually buy my bacon jam from the grocery store or at Amazon. There are a lot of different varieties, and you can choose one you think you'll like best. Some have hot peppers, whereas others are sweeter without being spicy. You can also make your own using a recipe like this one by Chili Pepper Madness. You could also use a hot pepper jelly for a spicier variety!
Serving: I usually use a deviled egg plate, but sometimes I need to use a dish of a different size or shape. If using a plate without the deviled egg divots, put a tiny amount of the filling under each egg to prevent them from sliding around.
